    Just wondering where in brisbane can i get someone to install some bucket seats for me and get them mod plated

    the seats im getting are from rollin imports and come with universal rails that have to be adapted



    just wondering if any one has done this before and how much it costed roughly

    ahhh the driftbitz seats
    umm any enginner could install them and mod plate them im shure.

    dude, do it yourself n get the guy to come to your house - think yellow pages....

    make sure you are installing reclining buckets as they no longer will mod plate fixed ones.

    y dont they mod fixd ones? what if you car is modded for 2 seats only?

    from what i can gather the rules are that no fixed seats in 2 door four seaters like sprinters unless you remove your rear seats and get it registered as a 2 seater

    do you know why?...access can still be gained to the rear seats via the passengers side so i dont know why they'd change the law

    u cannot really do them urselve unless u can weld i think.

    as these rails need to be modified to fit
    my mate has some. there a c*** he thought because there universal they would just bolt straight in but nope.

    i dont' think it's the getting in that they'de be worried about!

    i'm guessing it's incase of a crash/emergency

    hence why the provision existed for fixed back seats to be installed on one side of the vehicle...emergency services still have access via the other side. Why would they change it? is there data to show accidents involving fixed back bucket seats cause more fatalities
