i wish i had enough money for a freaking corolla
considering most 3sge's are only 100kw at the flywheel when stock and i think a 2 inch exhaust isn't really a big increase I call bs on the dyno.
I believe it has been calibrated to be "enthusiastic"
Launceston = Home of the surprise sodomist!!
"The first version was equipped with VVT-i and produced 197 bhp (147 kW, 200 PS) @ 7000 rpm...second gen produced around 207 bhp (154 kW, 210 PS) @ 7600 rpm." from wiki
its a beams 3sge. but i agree that i dont think a 2" is big enough
Beams came factory with 210hp at the fly.
thats ok tho, what would you recomend on exhaust as its only a 2L.
Mind you the exhaust consists of factory extractors 4-2-1 a cat and a hot dog, no muffler so it flows just as well as any 2.5-4" system. When i spoke to the guy at the exhaust shop this is what he recomended as its not a turbo setup so doesn't need a dumb wogbox exhaust
Well it kind of depends what direction your going with the motor, there's no point getting it done now if your only going to go turbo or something else later. I would have thought a minimum of 2 1/4" or 2.5"
Exhaust shops can do wonders with different resonators and mufflers to make it not sound like a massive exhaust
That was my main concern was to have a sprinter that sounded like a jumbo jet.
Instead i have a deep rasp noise i love it, ig et warm in the paint when i hear it
