I just had my car dyno'd today so here are the results.

Engine: Black top 20v, TRD 0.8mm Headgasket, T3 Trumpets, Haltech E8
    LS1 Coils, 3.9kg Flywheel.

    Power: 108rwkw@9100rpm.

    Tuner: Scott Hilzinger from Haltech.

It kept making power but I cut it at 9100rpm for obvious reasons. It is a super
clean tune and highly recomend Scott for tuning.
It sounds insane at those revs.

ae111 20v bt on mainline dyno, i.mec ramtubes, minor mods, 100.35 fwkw.

    max power at 8400rpm.

dynoed before and after fitting rams(same day, within 30 minutes), below 3200 rpm picked up 3kw, from 3200rpm to 4100rpm runs along standard curve then pulls away for an extra 6kw at peak. no losses with short rams.

ahh nice. i have those ram tubes laying around for my brothers car, good to see they make good numbers.

anyway, hoepfully ill have something to add to this thread in the next few weeks.

have - 16v 4age. big port head. 20v bottom end, with small port pistons, pair of wade cams, and some of the 4-1 headers i sell. will be running the engine in on stock ecu, and then changing to carbs, probably mikuni phhs.

If people are going to list their engine setups they used, I am most interested in cams used, and cam setting used. (Very interested if you got high power). And have much less interest in what computer or coils are used. And if you rev to 9100rpm, then I would be interested in what conrods, and what valve springs.

Hey Jonny, I'm taking it to 9100rpm with stock everything bar TRD headgasket.
It revs cleanly there with no signs of valve float, I drove an AE111 which had no limiter and it regulary saw first gear changes to near 9500!!!

So far everything is dandy but if it decides to shoot put a leg out of bed I'll let you all know.

    Cheers

hey johhny, dont discount the importance of the comp and tune man.... it certainly aint the be all and end all, but a good comp and a great tune will snap a well bult engine and mad cams that is tuned on a mappable camira ecu by duncan the donut eater

ps welcome to the chafers man.... if you need cheapie bits let me know i have some grouse hookups in tassie for the lycra ladies

    ps forgot to add mine...

healthy silvertop, very short trumpets.. like those above, motec with ecu rev limit at 8700 i think.... pulled th pin on the dyno at 8500, was still making power but almost flattening... 104kw.

have to sort a few things out for the tune man and he wants another go as im still a bit rich up top and in the middle under partial throttle.

didnt have any other trumpets to try but am workin on a plenum to look a little less defectable. will play with both those and show any changes.

also tuned on bp ultimate with 4.8 - npot sure if that make a difference. if i missed any important info let me know what i need for next time.. ill take notes
