I got an NRMA Check done they said the rust has been repaired professionally bar one spot in the top of the hatch.
Fully resprayed in white (sorta like a dark white but not cream)
He's asking $4000 FIRM
Is this asking too much?

Considering the new paint job. A more realistic figure would probably be around $3500.

funny thing is you pay 4K and insurance company will only cover you for a maximum of $2500
I sold mine recently for $4000 but it came with $1500+ worth of extras over a stock car for an example, personally i'd only pay about $3500 max for a pretty damn good car. Prices lately are fvcken insane i very much doubt they will hold though.

The guy who owns it bought it 9 yrs ago. He's never had an accident in it. Completely rust free with reciepts for the rust repair and respray.
Sun roof actually works. lol.
Passed NRMA check not a problem
Seems a liitle expensive but rust repair and respay and cheap either so to speak.
As I'm currently getting rust repairs done paneled and primed
So personally it is not really up to anyone but yourself....its all a matter of whether you think its worth it

I dont think its a bad price. You gotta face that the prices aren't going to come down. If you sit around going aww I think this ones 1000 dollars too expensive, and someone else buys it (because someone will buy it for that price) you'll have to wait for the next clean one to pop up. and there aren't too many clean ones around.
paying a little more for a clean one is much better than getting a rusty, worn out one for cheap unless its a track only car - my 2c.
