Default Parts required for 4AGE in to KE70, parts only, no instructions

    Copied,
i can see this question being asked more than once. here is a list of the parts required to do the conversion, if i have missed anything let me know and i'll update the post (its 10:26pm and i have been at work since 4, thats 4 this morning which means i got up a 3 to get to work )

    AE86 or AE71 engine crossmember
AE71 gearbox x member (86 one can be used)
    AE71 pedal box
AE71 or AE86 clutch master cylinder
AE71 or AE86 solid clutch line from master to slave, and rubber hose
AE71 or AE86 rubber engine mounts
AE71 or AE86 steel engine brackets
AE71 or AE86 gearbox stays (link box to block)
AE71 tailshaft if keeping the ke70 borg diff
AE86 tailshaft if using S series
AE86 tailshaft with T18 back half if using T series diff
    T50 gear box
obviously a 4AGE of some sorts JDM being easier, ADM FWD being a little trickier but no big deal.

thats just what you need to get the engine in there, you will also need

modify tank pickup with fuel pump, plus mod top tank plate with a 8mm fitting for fuel feed.
    fuel hose (injection spec)

loom to suit, either modded AE82 loom if using a bigport, modded AE92 loom if using a smallport, or a slightly less modified JDM loom again if you are using a bigport.

and what acc cable do you use if you have a ke70?

The stock one seems to be too long, or can you still use it?>

i used a ke70 cable as the ae71 is too short (same as 4ac ae86's)
    its looped around the cmc

also u will need the ae71 t50 crossmember (not sure if u can use the k40/50 member?)

(AE86 on the top, ae71 bottom)

with the cmc, holes will need to be drilled into the firewall

    more info here:

for Auto conversions the shifter hole will need to be wider

ae71 4ac radiator, both rad in and outlet is on the same side for the 4ac, ke70 rad will need some extention

also since i used a fwd motor i used a electric thermo fan

also pics of said 4a rwd engine mounts and gbox stays

ryco Z200 universal efi fuel filter with a 4ac coil mount to look stocky

    note: it has 8mm nipples
the stock ae71 lines fuel lines are 6mm and 4mm return

VL Fuel pump, mounted with 4ac coil mount used lol

would prefer intank fuel pump but this will do for now

if you can upgrade to ae86 struts and brakes
will need the whole ae86 struts (springs, shocks, brakes, etc...)
use the ke70 strut top and ae86 steering arm (get jdm if u want more lock lolz)

    Wiring 4age

    Alternator

I used an EP92 starlet cable, depending on the manifold though you may need to shorten the cable inner wire. The outer sheath is right on though.

Gearbox stays are not really needed, but if you have them, definatly use them.

I used an Odyssey Linear Slick BMX brake cable as my throttle cable, works well.

you should really use a surge tank or get a jdm fuel tank or you will get fuel surge when the tank is low going around roundabout/thrashing etc.

for this you require a small low pressure lift pump to fill the surge tank then a main EFI pump (VL etc) to pump from surge to engine.
