    hey guys im up to the fuel system part now got some questions

    What lift pump can i use ?
    What line do i use from the VL pump to fuel rail ?
    What type of line to use or just efi hose ?

    that should help heaps if you want to install an intank pump.

    as a minimum use 8mm EFI fuel hose. you can run this all the way from external vl pump to engine if you like, but using whats known as bundi tube(i think) , basically flexible metal fuel line, is preffered.

    im going to do a similar thing but with a ae82 intank efi fuel pump

    For the Throttle Cablein my ae71 went down to the bike shop and got a 1/2 a meter of brake cable and two 'anchor' bolts. ripped it out the old cable. then ran the bike cable in. "anchor bolt" the cable for the accelerator then anchor bolt the bit from the throttle body to the bike cable.- have pics if needed.

    For fuel i had the drain plug drilled and had a 12mm 90 degree barb welded on to it. i fitted the fuel pump on the same level as the drain plug- just behind the diff then ran a new 8mm fuel line to the rail (i doubt theres any point to the new fuel line though)

    dont suppose someone could post pics of all the parts that are needed? i have a hole ae71 in parts in my shed and need to source out all the parts for the 4a conversion lol

    wat fuel line from the fuel pump to fuel rail do you use stock is to small right?

    do u guys just run Efi hose all the way ?

    bundi tube its called, cheap as

    i have just installed a 4age in my ke, and currently i am just using the stock breather line as my feed and the other bigger line as my return.

    in a ke there are 3 pipes, 1 smaller one, 2 larger ones.

    the engine has started and appears to run fine, but i havent driven it yet so time will tell if the small pipe can handle it.

    i do have a roll of that budy tube though and will install it once its on the road etc.

    I use the stock line in my KE, apprears to work fine. Could do with a surge tank eventually though, but thats nothing to do with the line. All im running is a VL pump, no lift, no surge. Hope this answers a few questions of a bare minimum that is needed.

    4age yes 4agze no

    my setup im goin to be running is vl lifter to surge to vl pump to fuel rail
    but wat wires do u use for the intank lifter ?
