Fiddled around with my block and a dremel to make my rods fit. Turns out there are two (at least) casting variations for the 4a blocks, some blocks will foul on spool rods or any fatter aftermarket rod and some won't. Mine fouled.

Also ground away all the dags from the oil return ports one was shocking.

can't wait to see the end product, is the exhaust manifold powercraft? I'm still in love with rims ever since you got them off toxin. Pics of them on now if they fit please?

just read the first post, they are. They look the goods. I bet the manifold would of costed a fortune. How long was the wait from when it had to get made?

    Hey mate,

Yes the manifold's powercraft. It was a pretty expensive piece, but it just looks so nicely made I think it's worth it. I'll see how it performs. The wait was not overly long, from memory it was around 4 weeks, then maybe another 2 weeks to be shipped. Jesse Streeter helped me get them, if your keen I'd recommend going through him.

As for the wheels, going to get tires fitted to them soon. First I'm just waiting for my rear suspension setup to arrive then I'll take some pics of it all sitting decently on the new suspension and with the SSRs.

This ones still going to take a while. Just ordered an 86 GTS, hope it doesn't take too long to arrive!
