    Yo,

    I hauled a rusty sprinter out of the Byfield jungle.



    Who's rusty now!





    Engine parts:
    16V Smallport head
    Big cams
    old style adjustable cam gears
    TRD valve springs
    Toda underbucket shim kit
    20V ST throttles
    New crank
    Spool rods
    Powercraft Tornado Extractors
    Wisco hi compression pistons
    Exedy HD button
    Xtreme light flywheel

    Suspension:
    AJPS coilovers
    AJPS RCA's
    Cusco Camber tops
    Cusco Tension rods and brackets

    Drive train:
    Aussie T50
    Jap early disk brake T-series
    TRD 2-way

    Wheels:
    SSR formula mesh 14x8 -16 (i think) front
    SSR formula mesh 14x9 -22 rear

    tig, on the body? better of with a mig. though the tig is useful for other stuff.

    mig would be easier and quicker but i dont mind taking my time with this. Also I have never tig welded before so its a chance to learn a new skill.

    I bought the new crank a while ago simply because I have everything but as far as the block is concerned. Hoping to put together an engine half as cool as the TPS built 4a in the Newera Imports Levin.

    How did the throttle bodys get so clean? And what intake manifold?

    The throttle bodies were sand blasted

    and the manifold is RS Chita,

    Although I think mine is an older design as the throttle body flanges are not connected in sets of two as shown in the link.

    Bit of an update, mainly just been collecting parts so nothing too exciting. In a few months ill be on uni holidays so the real work will begin
