N00b guide: How to change the Start menu text

Hey people!

well i thought this is a pretty cool trick, so i though i'd show you all how to do it!!! you can pretty much make your Start menu say anything you want, but i haven't tryed to do a sentance or anything yet, so i guess it's all with in reason how long you make it

but first off... PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDANT WITH COMPUTERS AND DON'T BLAME ME IF IT FCUKS UP. JUST BORROW A FRIENDS PC AND E-MAIL ME WITH A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF WHAT IS HAPPENING AND I'LL TELL YOU HOW TO FIX IT. GOOD LUCK



*edit* if it doesn't work and neither does steps 17-19, try this

try when you boot to press F5 before the windows logo comes up with that bar. so just keep hiting F5 from boot until you get a hole heap of options in black and white. Select "Safe Mode". Once it's booted into windows safe mode. do the regedit step and make sure that you've spelt XXXX.exe the same as you saved. so check C:\windows and look for the .exe file and check the spelling. or if you can't be bothered just change the registry entry back to explorer.exe and it will go back to normal after a reboot so you can try again

it's easy to fix hey... just folloow the instructions and it'll be sweet. the registry entry thigy is the one you have to watch... just edit the one mentioned, NOTHING ELSE...
