Found out this morning that mouth wash has ethanol
A friend told me theres a new fuel from Shell, Optimax Extreme... havent seen it yet but he told me where to get some. 100 octane apparaently... if so... thats fkn awesome!!

yep used some in my Levin the other day..still getting used to the car, so couldn't actually say if it felt better or not.. but should have access to a dyno..i want to try different fuels/timing setups for the best alround power..
there are only a few in brisbane that have it.. the ones that i know of
- Shell at garden city (on kessles rd)
- Shell at sherwood
it has a 5% ethanol blend, absolutley fine in 4AGE's but i wouldn't use it in a 300 000+ km one..and i would not use it in a 4AC..
Yeah, sounds awesome but don't forget where in the land of the rising petrol, how much is it a litre?

in sa we dont even have optimax, shell 95 is all we get! i buy bp ultimate and this extreme/boost 98 (ethanol)
yeh i saw it about 2 weeks ago its running about 5% ethanol and it was about 3-5 cents more than optimax. still yet to run it..
theres one in my area hurstville if anybody wants to try it out
oh and.. lol @ Truenosedan
unless you've got an ecu tuned for that type of fuel you're throwing your money away
I wont use shell anymore...too much sulphur for my liking. Car runs better on ultimate anyway
