    Hey guys,
Seems my starter motor is rooted. Just wandering if an ADm starter will work, or will I have to track down a JDM one? And would anyone have either of these that I could buy??
    Thanks dudes

Any 16v 4age starter motor is interchangeable. Be aware that the 4ac starter motor has problems with heat so avoid it, even though it will fit. Currently I am upgrading from my 4ac starter motor to a 4age one which has a aluminium heatshield. It will cost you about $125 from wreckers.

the JDM starters have a greater gear reduction, specially good for high comp motors with heaps of timing advance..eg the 4AGE..

    yes.

all NA 16v starters fit RWD.

20v and 4A-GZE will NOT fit.

the rest are interchangeable, tho as mentioned, 4ac ones are ghey, cos they can't handle the heat from the exhaust, when used on a twincam
