u have to make a bracket, that pulls the pully back. Like a thick peice of metal sheeting, with the mouting braket holes, then the SC holes moves back. Thats how im doing it
J.
call streeter, its been done there many a time
follow the same setup..eg t/b befor the s/c then i/c then motor...just line it all up and make some brackets, where i have a GZE block in my garage, and a broken SC-14..i'll see what i can come up with, i'll be able to make some brackets up for ya if i work it all out with ease and minimal cost...
the real only problem is the pulley is to far back. I can suss the other stuff out its the easy part. I tried changing clutches over but it made it to far foward
Talk to Sprinterboy, as he is doing this conversion as we speak. Or look up his car in the members rides, heaps of photos
what if you just chuck it in a lathe and cut in some more belt area?? how much furthur back is it?? does the belt normally line up with the blank space where your finger is?? if yes bring the pully down to Craig at extreme engineering - 0412432546, and he will machine more of those ribs into the pully..just mesure up how far back it has to go.. he will do the rest..
ok ive got it down to two ribs out so ill get it lathed by craig thanks peoples for the help
