    Default pieman's silver sprint

    g'day guys

im bored so i may aswell chuck up a members ride thread for the new forum

ok, my car is a 1984 adm toyota ae86 with plenty of mods

    Engine:
    20v silvertop 4age
unknown brand airflow meter with filter
custom made headers with heat wrap
stock ecu, this may change with k-rudd bonus
    new larger thermofan
new exhaust with 2 hotdogs and a cat, starting to annoy me, i want a straight through system
other bits and pieces that i forget

    sussy: front:
AJPS 8kg adjustable coilovers at the front
    corona LCA's
old school corolla tie rod ends

    rear:
    AJPS 6kg springs
    commodore monroe shocks
    noltec adjustable panhard rod
    new bushings and stuff

    Interior:
nardi 330mm wheel, thats it really

    exterior:
14x8 hoshino impul's on the front
    14x7 ma61's on the back
    new charcoal hatch, thanks stanzzza

Collected bits waiting to go in:
ebay brand fixed back bucket seat
    t-series diff
    trd 2-way
    front and rear strut braces

    future plans:
fully strip interior, then paint it white
relocate dizzy, fix hole in fire wall
    buy wolf or microtech comp
TODA engine makeover------------way in the future
w58 gearbox with clutch and flywheel and other goodies

thats it in a nutshell, heres some pics:
this is what i started with

it had a prime condition 4ac, which died, so i chucked a 20v silvertop in it, and all my sussy mods and wheels and heres how it came up

then after a while i got my front guards slightly lipped so i could swap the wheels over, i dropped the car an inch and a half or so and with my new boot lid it now stands like this:

still a few little bits and pieces to do to make it 'prettier' , paint rear bumper, fix panhard rod, get some spacers to pump the ma61's out a bit, lower it a tiny bit more, and chuck in the bits that i have collected

thanks guys, i hope u like it

p.s. sorry bout the first 2 pics, dunno why they're so massive, and just ignore my number plates

that's nice as man, do you have to mod the 20 plenum bit to accept the quads in rwd format or does it bolt straight on??

the intake plenum had been flipped upside down, with the original hole filled and a new hole made in the back

other than that it bolts straight on mate

i looks alright but doesnt beat itb's haha, another future plan

nice one bud, see you skipped the 16v all together and went with the 20v, did you do the conversion yourself.
Those wheels that ended up on the front look the goods!

yeah mate, skipped the 16v, was a bit greedy and wanted some extra power haha

nah i didnt do the engine myself, its the only part of the whole build i didnt attempt to do myself

yeah i like my fronts as well haha, they scrub a bit and i want some more dished wheels for the back, its time to bite the bullet and pump my guards out
