I tried swapping rails once and it didn't work out and I couldnt get them back onto the seats but that might have just been those seats.
Also how much are just the rails? I always thought they were pretty expesive.
jsut wondering if anyones got thoese after market seats similar to the ones jus jap are selling, bride nock offs?
my question is, with putting the seats in to a sprinter can you use the orginal seat rails that bolt in to the floor and the seat slides on and put the other seat in on top of them in stead of having to much around with making the new rails compatible?
they seam similar but im not totally sure it will work or if its safe to do so?

im not sure, thye came on the new seats... i might give them a try, if it works it beats drilling holes and stuffing around
Hey man
Yeah u can use your existing seat rails .... i wouldlove to explain but its way to hard and plus i cant be fukced.
Ill post some pics up all u need is a welder and some time
Leandro
well i got both of them... i'd love to see them when you get around to it
You can drill grind chop the original seat base off and fit a aftermarket, but most seats end up too high imo. Even a bride on a bride rail is higher than a oem seat. I've got a obx daytona, and it has too much underthigh padding, giving a knees up seating position. Would be better if I made some custom lower mounts, but i'd probably lose the slider in the process.
Your right on the money
Your seat will sit higher alot higher and if ur tall u better hope u have a recliner
I've seen Josh Youngs (mr2drift) seat rails and he mad them super low but yes u do lose the slyder which means u have to get a mod plate for a 2 seater and then u have to register it as a 2 seater so yeah sorta sucks wang both ways
