after my sway bar finally arrived yesterday i quickly had the car up and franticly removing the old puss 14mm one.. removed the link pins and put new superpro bushes in there, greased up the bushes that came with the Whiteline 18mm rear sway bar (fixed swaybar) and chucked her in.. while i was in the area i fitted my Cusco adj on the car (has a turnbuckle not just a nut and thread) Panhard rod.. as my home made one kinda..bent..more..

all in all took about 45mins.. and i urge people to wear some sftey glasses whilst working under a car!! shit, dirt, mud, rubber falls out of everywhere.. and it always lands right in your eye!

the test drive after suprised me!! i thought that as i only changed the rear, it wouldn't make much of a difference as i left the front swaybar as is.. nope.. it actually feels like it has given the back more reason to turn, and the front grips better because of it.. hard to explain, but the car feels a little more neutral to over steer, but i didn't even use the gas wich suprised me!! i was just driving normally no heavy accelerating etc.. and the back wanted to step out a bit.. awsome!! can't wait to do the front next!!

Yes, the thicker the sway bar the less flex it gives on the movement of wheels but this also changes your tire wear. If it's to thick the wheels will hop.
Race cars have adjustable sway bars where they can adjust the tolerance of under or oversteer according to the strut rebound and damping settings.

oh ok, well then 18 should be nice.. i wanted to get adjustable front and rear.. but i saw a 17mm one going cheap as chips so i bought it.. but it was for a KE70.. didn't fit around the 86 diff.. and from what other people have said about this guy he will not under any circumstances give a refund, but wil give you 'credit' .... so i fgured.. well i might as well get a sway bar.. and piad the extra difference for the 18mm whiteline one..

Im gonna run 24mm front and 18mm rear. Predominantly street, with mountains and occasional track.

swaybars won't cause an uncomfortable ride like stiff springs and shocks will, but 24 front and 18 rear is good.. i'm going to get an adj front one anyway so i can fine tune it
