i'd only bother machining it if it's black and/or got scores but if it looks to be good then dont bother.cost a mate like $60 at a brake shop. yellow pages for a local brake shop then give em a ring.
hey people,
next week i will be replacing my clutch, so i was thinking that while the box &
clutch are out that i might get the flywheel machined.
i only have a 4AC. so don't know if its worth the hassle.
So is it worth it?
how much will it cost me?
and anyone know where i can get it done in the inner-western sydney area?
*edit...(sorry should of put this in the tech q's section. someone please move this)

when you do a new clutch shouldnt u machine the flwheel anyway?
ae71 parts for sale stripping 3xae71's and a ke70
You should definately machine the flywheel when you replace your clutch, if you don`t you will end up with a clutch that shudders every time it engages, especially if it has burn marks on it (blue patches).
I'd get it machined.
marvis.
the clutch i will replace the old one with is 2nd hand.
will this be a problem?
has plenty of meat.
