I just had one made at race radiators in melbourne and it cost $550 I got it made with a 40mm core, a mate got one made with a 50mm core for the same price.
hey all i was just wondering what radiators that you used in your 86's. i wouldnt mind getting a big ass twin core one but only looking at spending no more than $500. so yeah. would like to spend less so i got more money to play with in other areas but yeah i want something good and if possible one that i dont have to cut the mounts off on the car
thanks in advanced ben

hey, you've tried craig at extreme haven't you? i think i saw you hammering up beudesert rd one arvo bout 3:30ish from meadow av (his street).. just after i left! enquire for a price.. a 2 core ally one will be plenty
I use one out of a N13 pulsar, although I had to make new bottom mounts up, but it was cheap enough, from memory it was $250.

is you post directed to me, cuz if it was no i havent been there, lol im not even sure what beudesert rd is. anyways do you have some contact details for a few places? some were good and not to over priced. i would just use yellow pages but i always end up getting the worst shop of the lot.

bump, anyone else give me some ideas?
I seconded the N13 radi.
I chose this for my 71 and its about 1/3rd bigger than the stocko note AE71 one) tho its not a twin core its till a two row whcich i hope will suit me fine. I didnt change the the bottom mount, just made some new ones for the top
got any pics of the n13 radiator?
I'm gonna change mine to ae71 radiator, btw, does the thicker the radiator the better? coz I see so many old cars come with thick copper radiator from factory.
was it hardcore you running castor oil in it to stop it oxidising internally with the high temps that formula north sea is going to be running at ?
I have a hiace factory twin core tripple bypassed with commodore end tanks it was way under $500 new
But is total over kill for any four cylinder in a sprinter as i have never seen the temp gauge move on the hottest days
