just go down to repco or supercheap and look it up in one of the books.. off the top of my head i think they are BCPR6EY or 5EY.. think 6 is the hotter burning plug.. there NGK's copper core cheap ones.. they will do the job perfectly.. the factory ignition system on the AE86 4AC won't be able to take advantage of anything special.. if you were to put the internals of the AE82/92 4AC dizzy in yours you can score electronic ignition.. get rid of those contacts.. (which you should also do with spark plugs) .. and a good coil.. you can get a wee bit more power.. but more economy more importantly..

also a good advantage of upgrading to the electronic ignition from the FWD 4ac.. is u pretty much set and forget the ignition up.. no points bounce.. no replacing contacts/points.. just dizzy caps and rotor buttons.. plus you can use iridium plugs like a 4AGE.. and not have to replace them for 10 years or 100 000 km's... make quite a bit of difference as far as drivability and fuel economy.. small power gains.. very small.. but noticable..

vivas - yeh a good iridium plug is a very wise move on any 4AGE/Z/20v etc etc as toyota use them from factory.. but an absolute waste of time and money if you use a conventional points/contacts dizzy.. i had my previous post arse about.. with NGK plugs.. heat range 5-6-7 5... being hot > cold being 7

found a good website by NGK them selvs..

i was suprised also... they remove heat rather than add heat... you can find out what spark plugs come out in which car etc etc.. OEM then the iridium counterparts good website!
