    as tha title states....

fill in the criteria and your opinion

price: eg. if they sold them for the same price as the 80's

options: eg. a more updated interior or exactly the same as the 80's

    engine: eg. 16v 4age, 20v 4age, 4agze, 4agte, other

other: eg. any other options that you would want

comments: do u think they would sell? would u definatley buy one? etc...

    definately a seller...

the market needs more light rwd cars!
mx5s have nothing to compete with

my old man doesnt shut up about how much he wants toyota to bring out a new version, aim for 1000kgs, use the corrola sportivo motor, have a turbo option with very little in the way of luxuries..
    I started the ball rolling...

are u like a secret researcher for toyoya?

if Toyota miraculously decided to remake them (WOOOT!) and kept them reasonably priced.. with a 1.6L n/a or possibly optional supercharger/turbo setup i would definately buy one! are u kidding!

would u guys buy one from the show room if they wanted say $30000 for one?

    to answer my own questions

price: for sure if they were reasonable priced <$15000 (would ditch the idea of buying a first car and save for a new sprinter)

options: dont care! just gimme a sprinter. tho a updated interior would be nice if it didnt add extra weight

engine: dont care! as long as it has a 4A** engine in it

i think every single person on this forum would be lining up to buy one and would prove a success. a treuno option would be nice too

i rekon about 20k for the stock non turbo one and 30k for the slightly racier one

so for you 10k you get better brakes suspension and a turbo, but you lose aircon, stereo, and maybe the rear seats...

    there would be a 2 seater and a 2+2

yes and no, depending on price would depend on whether i bought one or bought a MKIV. each to their own i spose.

not to mention the "older" 86's would drop in price. so id have my cake and eat it. old school 86 + TT MKIV.

I'd prefer if they made a similar style(light small rwd) car again but did it a bit more modern, IRS etc..

probs with producing more original hachi's would be pollution and cost of manufacture.

price: starting at 16ish (keeping it r-e-a-l) to 30 with the luxuries
options: updated but a bit angular - performance over comfort
engine: 20v and turbo option (maybe electric?!?)
other: LIGHT RWD 4seats TOUGH style BASIC
comments: hell yes they would sell - nothing to compete with and appeals to young'ens, commuters, tight arses and those with track aspirations.

There must be thousands of 86 and toyota clubs around the world let us unite and tell the techheads what WE are looking for!!
