    Default 4k-c power

    G'day viewers

While im gathering the parts for my 4AGE conversion iv decided to have a little fun with the 4K-c in the Kesev since it's in such good condition and would be a shame to bin it. (Bought off a 92 year old lady who had it since new, she started crying as i drove off with it).

    Here's the plan.

    * Shaved Head (Around 10.2 to 10.5)
    * A set of extractors plus exhaust.
    * Cam, have been told the tighe cams profile No 113 or 104 is a good way to go.
    * A bit of home style dremel porting/head cleanup.
    * And finally a new carby.

    Soooo, my questions are...

Is the 32/36 weber too big for a 4k even with these mods, would a 32/32 off a 1600 escort be a better fit?

    and...
Can you remove and replace the 4k-c cam without pulling the engine?

    anddddd...
Does anyone want to weld my diff for a carton???(Im in perth, will bring to you)....crownies....coronas..mmmmmm

(And does anyone have any of these parts for sale)

    Cheers for the input lads.

the 32/36 is fine, just get it jetted properly
(my 4k is stock with extractors and exhaust and runs the 32/36 fine)
and a lot of people use the tighe 104, but they are kind of similar

i rebuilt a 4k in my first car which was a ke30.....had exhaust, cam, best compression i seen for a standard 4k, weber(not sure what type though)....

Was fun but still went like shit....i guess for wat it was it wasn't to bad.

To get the cam out i had the enigine out and 2 of us man handled it upside down while one pulled out the old cam.....work a treat and saved some time.
