what oil to use in my t50

ive heard that dextron 3 auto fluid is good to use but im not shore has anybody used it is it safe to use

i justed used gear oil from supercheap....

rated for gearboxes obviously, is your car a daily driver?

i use dexron 3 and its a daily seems ok to me very common thing to do cause its slightly thinner than normal gear oil

Call a distributor, apparently they need a certain type. I put just general stuff in my first g/b and it blow 10 days later. The guy at castol said in his book it specifically says not to put in the shit i did, so dont grad the first thing on the shelf

The stuff he recommended was for a mitsubishi i think?? but iv been giving it hell for the past 4 months and it still seems in top nick

offtopic but how much gbox oil is needed in a t50? 2.5L?

I havent got the manual infront of me but I'm pretty sure it was between 1.5-1.7L last time I filled up from well drained.

Fill it up till it starts to dribble out the filler.

I've had, generic stuff in mine, castrol syntrax and redline lightweight shockproof.

The redline has the best shift feel.

i have used dex 3 for years in my T-50.. nice and cheap too
