matt black ftw, what state are you in?? going for any handling mods at all?? dx tail lights would make it look so much better in the rear though
Hey all,
Just bought a 1984 model ke70 corolla as a daily/future drifter.
I bought it in primer. and just went for the cheaper option paint wise and its now matt black,
Its fairly clean considering the age,
got 151,000 on the clock.
Interior is the light browny/beigey colour. gonna retrim it soon. black red and white.
Got 3 gauges on the dash and 1 on the drivers side pillar.
standard exhaust atm. will have extractors and a 2inch system soon.
kenwood head deck,
Superlow kingsprings
Bonnet scoop
sitting on standard 13's but I'm gonna get 15x8 sportmax 002 rims, Red with a chrome lip. gonna get white wall tires
standard 4k engine. looking for a bigger carby. what would be the best carby for it?
and when I'm off p plate laws i'll get an engine conversion. im thinking rotary or 4age/4agze
Its gonna take a while to complete, to the standards i want. And im only 16.. with not much cash as i got fired from work for shooting my brother with a nail gun... ( TOTALLY WORTH IT! )
But Ill be sure to keep you's all updated.
And if you're feeling generous maybe throw some ideas up and some info on how to get more power out of my 4k.
Cheers all. Keegan. [:

hey mate
did you express post those carbs? have a look over at my car and that can give you some ideas for the mighty 4k
. h i t o r i k o .
DriftTE, he's in queensland, check the plates lol.
I'm wondering how you noticed the tail lights and not the plates.
Nice build keegan, I want some 8" rims too, I reckon they'd look tough from behind especially with pumped guards.
Im gonna upgrade the brakes but im not sure what to get? And she handles allright as it is so ill probably just leave it for now.
Where can i buy dx tail lights from also?
Cheers i'll look now :]
Cheers, and yes im in QLD! on the sunshine coast
And thats why im getting 8" for the tough look
bigger carbie (an old 32/36 webber from a cortina, just get smaller sized jets) a 272deg cam, slight headwork, plus that exhaust you were taling about, and a tune and it will feel like a new animal.
people write these engines off, but they can be hell fun. just dont write the car off ahahaha
Sold!
