    Default extractors/exhaust

in a 4age is it better for your extractors and exhause to use a 4-2-1 setup or a 4-1 setup?

depending on the engine setup the long primary 4-1 will have a marginal power increase in the top end but a big mid range power loss over a good long set of 4-2-1s

Yeah, agree with Sam. Once my 4-2-1's blew a hole, I changed to some 4-1's. Mid range seemed alot better with the 4-2-1's, but top end is slightly better with the 4-1's.

Unless you're really pushing it or you've got a bit of headwork etc.. It doesn't really make too much of a difference. Both increase power over factory items.
