    What are some good brands of short stroke shocks and what are some cheap brands????

    do you want good ones or cheap ones?

    for the rear HQ/whatever holden ute shocks are fairly cheap and pretty good if you are after a budget setup, a mate of mine runs them with 4kg/mm springs and they seem to do the job pretty well.

    as for the rest

    ive said a thousand times and it looks like ill say it again,
    pedders xtreme, suzuki siera front shocks are by far the firmest/shortest shocks for the rear of 86's. actually almost to firm if your after a street setup.

    I can highly recomend KYB excel-g short stroke shocks, there ace. I use them, and lurve the things!

    ht monaro rear shocks are short stroke for ae86, less than $300 for koni adjustables. bolt straight in

    what about ohlins? penske? there is loads of stuff better than billies - all of which will be overkill on a sprinkler.
