try winding the coilover as high as possible while the weight of the car is on the spring.

p.s. no such thing as too low.

original conversion uses standard rack(P/S or non-P/S), but there's also rack end/tie rod combinations listed for aw11 racks and silvia racks

what brand coilovers are you using, and are they base adjustable? KEI office coilovers are the ones to get for this conversion, they are all uber long.

steer away from anything that isnt base adjustable.

i have JIC coilovers in my ke70, and i have the base adjusted almost all the way up, and the spring seat about 2/3 up the thread (so making it 2/3 max height i guess) and it makes the jacking seams of the car about 140mm off the ground. this is with 200mm 11kg springs, i just ordered some 250mm 8kg ones so i can get the spring seat in a more user friendly position. and so i dont jar my back from the 11kg springs

Have any of you had problems with the centerline of the hub/wheel assembly being shifted forward a bit? it seems that on my setup the whole assembly got pushed forward about an inch and is causing the tire to rub on the front bumper. I tried adjusting the Caster rod but had no luck with problem....

hmmm... what are the chances of removing all non relevant posts (including this one) from this thread to make it easier to browse?

18 pages and most are just rubbish posts? Would make it more of a "technical" article...... more relevance, less 2c adding...

    Try

I think it condenses most of the info found in these 18 pages.
