hmmm it dosnt help to much that just confused me more?
there is no real need to remote mount the thremostat unless you dont have enough room for the stock one. if you send me a drawing of what you have done, then i'll help. The correct plumbing for a 20V goes like this
1) pumps cold water into the front of the block, behind the water pump
2) water travels up thru block into head, and out back of head into housing
3A)if thermostat is cold and foot valve is thus open, but main valve shut, then it does a u turn inside the rear housing and travels along the gallery inside the the head, and into the suction side of pump (back) via a short alloy fitting
3B) if thermostat is hot, foot valve is shut and main valve is open, then it travels out the port on the LH side of the head, and to to top rad hose. The return from the bottom ratiator hose is onto the top of the thermostat
the heater hoses take off at the back housing originally.

ok i kinda of get that diagram but i dont know which is the heater box
heres a pic of my setup i did it before i realised i needed a heater
Which is which i know 1 is the radiator, 2 pump, 3 therostat but what are the others?
4 is heater tap.
5 is throttle body.
I think 6 is heater box.
so the only reason for the little outlet on the back of the head is for a heater?????
And for the thermo time switches..

so when the thermostat is cold it stop circulation through the radiator and just recyles the water through the block?
