I'm currently doing a CA18 conversion on my 86 and I'm in the market for an intercooler. Can members who have done the conversion post up pictures of where they have put their cooler, and what size they are.

Don't have nissan power only original toyota power, but hey i still have an intercooler so info should still help.
My intercooler is of an EVO 3 or 4 its a few bars thicker than a VR4 intercooler. All i know is that it fits perfectly and has good flow through it.
Its mounted from the bonnet release bracket at the top and on the bottom part of the radiator support couldn't ask for a better fit for my sprinter.
None of my pics that i have clearly show where it sits.
Hopefully this great peice of art work helps in any way.

Oops a bit small, anyway red is mounting points, blue is where my piping went through and the grey line is approx size of the cooler.

Hmm not quite AJPS style, this was the last pic just before the 4AC was assasinated and the ZE moved in.

I got mine at the wreckers where i got my engine from, the dude that sold it to me thought it was a VR4 and hence so did i till i compared it to my mates VR4 cooler on his charade.
