    more grip = more speed.
    just most 86 drivers dont have the power to turn them.

    I'd rather more grip up front. I know you can go faster, but as you said, most 86's dont have the power to turn wide rims. If i had 7.5's and 8's, the 8's would be front, 7.5 rear. My wider rims are up the front now. And wide rims with camber look hot

    lol mine turns 8"s
    but if u had a set of 7.5"s or 8"s u wouldnt run them on the back?

    well in my case it really doesnt matter as both sets of rims are waring 195's so the actual amount of tread on the road is the same,
    to be honest on my car it was easier to flare the fronts to fit the 8's than flaring the rears to fit them. that was the only reason to have them on the front.

    also i have to agree with nafe about those rims for 1500, very steep for small skinny rims,
    you guys dont wanna know what i paid for my SSR's

    It all comes down to personal choice and what your prepared to pay, i was looking for something different and i really liked Mk'3s so i went with them . A mojority of the price, say 40% was charged with freight, im just getting the car the way i want it to look, and im happy with the rims.
