just a general topic about roadbikes, im thinking about getting one to have a little fun on.
So i just wanted to hear some other peoples thoughts on them.
Did they enjoy them or not? the ups, the downs etc

And i know the risks very well, so please dont jump on this thread handing out lectures, im one of the many who know first hand from injury to myself, my family and close friends, the serious risks of motorbikes.

    And with that discuss away!

yes dangerous when put in the wrong hands but what about other drivers who don't even consider there is bikes on the road...

    oh yeah no lectures.

i love bikes too...but dirt bikes...i like the speed of road bikes but they are like sluts..the seating position on them makes your hand pull on that throttle no matter how strong willed you are....much like a hot slut whos begging for it...then you get in big trouble (on both occasions)

this is why i'm scared of bikes for the road but if you have willpower to control the speed thats mad...get a super-moto bike!!!

super-moto = two wheel dorifto hahahhahha

Roads bikes are awesome but the one bad thing is that some other drivers make a good rider dangerous.

What brand you thinking of getting?

^^^^super-moto = two wheel dorifto hahahhahha. <<Thats GOLD.

not to sure on what brand yet, or engine size!

I would like to get a 250 to keep myself undercontrol a little better, while getting use to road bikes.

But i would prefer to dive straight into a 600. Though im not sure if this is going to be a little to dangerous for me.

Im a confident rider on a dirt bike, but the road is different, and less forgiving. So im not rushing into a decision

yes the road is less forgiving and never forget the stuff you learnt at the riding school (i assume you went to one to get your licence) about braking while turning and the difference the front and back brake make to the bike attitude..

as for starting with a 250 or a 600...get whatever size bike you prefer because at the end of the day, if you have no self control or good judgment you'll hurt yourself whether on a 250cc or an 1100cc...you control how much power and when, so just get the bike you want from the beginning and you'll get used to it

yup KTM would be my favourite motorbike brand, simply becuase i love there dirt bikes. Cant wait to they release there range of road sport bikes.
Everytime they bring out a new type of bike its top of it's class, and the rest of the company's play catchup's.
