i'm just about to embark on my trueno conversion and i was wondering if anyone has had experience with the wiring side of things when it comes to the activation of the headlight motors.
now i've skimmed through some of the wiring diagrams and from what i can tell, there is a headlight retractor relay which controls the operation of the motors. I was able to get my hand on one of these relays but for the life of me, i can't seem to find any real specific wiring details on how to wire the retractor relay up.
Any help from anyone who's done the conversion would be super

yeah this has always intrigued me, i think most popup headlights have some sort of control "module/box" somewhere dont they? like some lil box under the dash that controls them? does trueno's have that?
maybe im talking crap....

have you got a copy of this manual? i need it to tell me the pinout details for the headlight rertactor relay if possible
A freind of mine has wired his trueno conversion up with a headlight relay/loom taken from a local celica with pop ups (st-182 I think the model was?).
He took a short cut and simplified things to save getting an auto elec to wire it for him - so when he turns the headlights on, the pop-ups come up, but to make them go down, he has a second switch on the dash to short the circuit for the pop-up motor. I'm not sure of the details but I can find out if you really want to know. He's not a dummy with electrics, but said this was a much easier way to do it.
