whats the best springs for a circuit car? 6kg rear 8kg front is whats generally suggested for drift but I want a basic setup that will give me more corner speed. thanks

circuit setup and drift setup are not that dissimilar than each other, wouldnt be able to tell u exact kg's
have a look at TRD spring rates i think u'll find there 8 front and 6 rear, and they were probably made for street and track.
also on another note, drifters started out using the stiff-est springs (and huge neg camber) they could, but eventually went softer (and less camber).
buy it and try it

start with 6 kg front and 4.5 rear, then go from there.
I think 6 at the front is ok but 4.5 is too much and would cause too much oversteer, Normally people fit 6/4. Same with 8/6 too higher rate on the rear I think. Where do you plan to drive this thing?

trd recommend 6 and 4.7, i sell the 6 and 4.5
i think you are just paranoid of oversteer sam!
my car with 8 and 6 was very neutral
I find 8 and 6 too hard for street tyres. Well not tooo hard, but you could get much more rear end grip with somthing like 3-4kg in the back.
8-6 is about on the money for semi's though.
Yeah I dont know dave, I tried a few different setups and I now run 4.9kg fronts and roughly 3.3kg rear, seems to be pretty close to neutral now. Using the same ratio it works out to 6:4
I tottaly agree with monkeymajik on the hardness settings

i plan to drive it on street and track SAM
Im think ill go 8kg front and 4kg rear.
