Well I finally think this AE86 deserves a members ride thread of its own.

It's not actually my AE86, but i'll take most the credit for building it haha (nah a lot of people are responsible for building it) It's Meg's car but wanted to chuck it up here..

Some of you will remember the old yellow AE86.. Basically it went in for some rust repairs and after finding a few too many and then being presented with an amazing clean shell we decided to do a complete swap.

The 4AGE, suspension, steering, diff etc all came out of the yellow one and into the new gold one.

Anyway.. Lots of late nights and hard work but its taking shape now..

A HUGE thanks to Scott, Wayne, Don, Mike, Erin & Meg for all the hard work you have all put in.

Anyway enough of the talk here is some specs and pics...

Took 1 weekend to swap all the good gear into it and paint the engine bay.

4 weeks to prep the body (Few hours each night, most of the weekends).

Another day to paint.. Another day to re-assemble.

So probably 5 weeks all up of on and off work.
