    Default where are common rust spots on E7??

    hey guys im wanting to find and eliminate any rust spots on my rolla. i have found my rear gaurds to be full of rust so i have to repair these and was wondering where else to look.

    but it pisses me off when people assume your hooning cos your car is loud, has bald tires, a roll cage, fresh bake and dinted bumpers!!

    if you have found one area to be full of rust you will need to strip the whole car down to make sure you have found everything. rust is like cancer, if u don't get it all, it comes back.

    yeh well im gonna fix as much as i can then when i sand it right back for a spray later on then i will see it all.
    i hate the rust sooo much biggest killer of old school cars

    Take off the panel behind the bonnet too, its usually full of shit.

    Also take the front guards off if you can be bothered, good idea to check under them.

    rear right c pillar and fuel flap area, top boot seal area, rear guards only if they have driven on dirt roads, all 3 of my kes didnt have a spec in the guards front or rear,

    passenger rear door can sometime fill with water a little, otherwise it all will depend on the life of the car,

    what im doing, is drilling a few tiny holes along the bottom of the doors at the lowest point for water to drain, and drilling a hole the size of a 5 cent piece at the top, put a bung in it, and now and then pull it out and just spray a good lot of wd style stuff through it all.
