Having trouble getting my ZE to idle let alone rev, Gilly (i bought the car off him) thought it may need a surge tank and second pump to up the pressure but i know of turbo 4A's with just a VL turbo intank pump (which this car has). Anyways, the pressure at the regulator is at about 19psi at a very low idle. Should it be higher?

    Cheers, Jase

The pressure should be more like 37psi. Something wrong with your pump, or voltage to pump, or the way the hoses are arranged.

Try taking the vaccum hose off the pressure regulator and test again. Or block off the fuel return hose with a clamp and test (and the motor will probably run better like this.)
