I lol'd at taking a 4AC on the dyno, however 42kw is not to be sneezed at. Comparable to what a few 4AG's made at Autosalon a few years back......

The rear brace looks sick man, you should certainly feel the improvements in the a car with so little lateral bracing compared to the sedan.

Also, although i'm sure you have your mind made up, i'm going to +1 the 4AGE. Excellent usable amount of power for the chassis.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

cost me $200 coz they had to replace a few littel things, but feels 100 times better now.

yes 4ages are nice motors but for the price i can get this sr for im not goin to pass it up. and the step up from 4ac to 4age isnt enough for me, the extra 20 to 30 kw i might get and the extra rev range verses the time and money id rather spend the extra 1 to 2 g and make 3 time the power.
sure its still a corolla and i could go buy a s13 with coilovers and a sr allready in it but i want to be different and i like my panno, ive worked hard on it and i will continue to work hard on it to achieve something different and something i like to drive.

ill find another panno and 4age it for street, but this thing is goin big slowly

In theory, yes. But with the N/A models they run a higher compression so once turbocharged they will actually go better than an original DET motor.
That's my guess as to why he did this anyway.

price, the price difference between what i got the de and turbo for to a det one is silly, and yes higher comp lower boost less mods so hopefully should be reliable.

its gona be running stock boost, a quiet exhaust and a decent clutch so i can still street it, but then the power to weight should be wicked to rip up on the track
