Good idea. Thats what im doing with my new CA.. its a CA18DE+T so im gunna keep it at stock boost so its reliable hopefully.. then again.. CA18 and reliable dont usually go well together in the same sentence when its related to track drifting. lol.

ha yea, my mate has a ca18 det in his 1200 and had a few problems with overheating coil packs doin grip
i hope to have it done by early feb, the only problem im seeing is someone good to do a tune and remap the comp with boost settings

yea im trying to work to a budget, and a microtec isnt relay on the draw cards, but i will see what happens when it comes to that time, still have to get a diff get some custom mounts made get a different gear box.

My sr ke was running a power fc with the previous owner and is now running a standard ecu with a nistune type 3 remap and made more power [not heaps] on less boost on the same dyno and same tuner with no other mods. Just food for thought.
Do you have a DET computer and loom to run the whole show?
