    Default My 3tgte ke70 biuld

    Here's the very beginning of my ke70 build. plans for the car in the near future are:

    custom mounted 3tgte
    custom forward facing plenum
    front mount intercooler
    microtech ecu
    the usual sus (coilovers ps arms rose jointed control arms trd springs etc)
    locked T series diff
    Buddy Parts full bolt in cage
    Not sure on wheels yet will decide as it gets closer to the end

    Im hoping to have it finished in the next couple of months so i can get out on the track and start learning how to steer the thing.

    Special thanks to Jay at Buddy Parts who has already been a big help with parts and advice for the car!!

    Heres some pics of the car as it is today its just had a fresh coat of Toyota corona white

    Nice, I'll keep my eyes on this build.

    Also I remember seeing someone selling a cross member to fit a 3t on their KE70. A lil heads up of you're not already planning your own cross member.

    Thanks for the heads up, i reckon ill mod one myself though cos i want to get it close to the firewall and as low as practical seeing its such a big ol motor

    Sweet, Ill also keep my eyes on this build. Will be awesome. Should be ready in 2 weeks yeah?

    Im up for the drag as long as nothing falls of your car and hits mine ha ha. Paint on the shell is done hoping to have all the panels finished next week.

    Cheers man but it will prob be more like 2 months for this build i reckon

    haha that is true
    well looks like ur car will have to wait a few weeks cuz ur going to re wire mine next week with luck haha
    just have a sicky and work on ur car im sure jay can work on cars with out u haha

    Im sure he can too. Maybe i should have that sicky when your car comes in ha ha, Do you think you will have the engine bay done and motor back in by next week? thats a fair good effort man
