    Hey ae86-13b
Just curious how you find it handles compared to a 4ag based car of similar suspension specs?

I was really surprised at how heavy the solid little suckers are! I see yours sits nicely back but when I put a 13B EFI 6 port in my BMW 323.
It was around the same weight as the 6cly it replaced!
But the flat torque curve made up for it...

    Cheers
    Fil

    PS Neat ride!

PPS Crispi...my conversion was about $4.5k about 15 yrs ago and struck gold with a good import engine and cheap S5 Turbo GBOX. Did the plumbing and wiring myself and only got engine mounts, exhaust and tailshaft done professionally. No engineering required to get through road inspection in SA.
Bugga the rotor...do a trippple rotor like the YouTube video... Good luck!

Triple rotor... His budget would be gone just buying a desent block...

And think of the weight you just mentioned... Would be even more..
    2jz over 20b..!! mucho torque.

AE86-13b, that looks awesome. Very tidy and proffessional lookind conversion. I'm sold. Going in for paint next week, going dark metallic grey with black bonnet. Will post pics as soon as paint is finished. Will pm you as soon as I look close to starting the conversion. Thanks.

hey dude i dont no why the 13b efi was as heavy as your 6 cylinder. i recken the 4age and 13b were ruffly the same since the ride hight dropped a tiny tiny bit not even noticable. a bare 13b with no manifolds i can lift onto a bench on my own. thanks for all the possitive feedback on the rotor guys

as someone who has done a 13b 86 convertion i can say its great fun to drive, mine is fairly modified however there is alot of work involved doing just the minimum to make it fit. dont let me put you off. bang 4 buck it doesnt get any better. if your serious about doing it and want any advise just shot.

Mates shop did a rebuild on one of the old bathurst S1/2 rx7s not long ago..
It made like 150whp the way it was tuned back then.. (after the rebuid) He tweaked it to todays standard and it went to over 270hp.

On another note... spent a good amount of time pooking around having a look, and I'd say that most average (private) track cars today are built to a more developed standard.. Oh how far we've come.

power to weigh its just rediculous. even on low boost it has massive torque, did kill a twin turbo r8 maloo (fun as hell)
