    Default wheel bearing lube.

    alrite im going to pack and install new wheel bearings soon......

    what lube do you goes recomend.

    Anything on the shelf that says wheel bearing grease should be fine. Then check the front inner seals, get new ones if you want. Then look at the dome metal cap over the nut. If it is bent and not going to seal, then maybe some silicon will stop grease leaking out.

    But the best grease is probably the water proof stuff, made for boat trailers.

    Do not use white lithium grease. That is only cheap stuff for door locks.

    any high temp bearing grease will be fine.

    jonny- got new seals wen i got them.. didnt even think actually and they just chuked them in with the bearings....luky.

    stanzzza - yeh i just thought people might hae some prefferences,, brands ect.

    Castrol high temp bearing grease, can't go wrong.

    i use mobil blue grease, its ace.
    but i have a contract with them.... so i have to say that
    but yea mobil oil, the ONLY entirely man-made oil in the world

    during work today i reallised the grease i grease everything with is mobil blue..

    so i think you win juturna, because mobil = free. + its blue + its marine lube.. win win win.
