Alternator hits the sway bar.
As the title states i was wondering if anyone knew if the front disc brakes off a AE101 will fit on the front of a 1983 ADM sprinter. Also im about to do a 4A-GZE conversion and ive read somewhere that you need to get the alternater bracket off a 4A-FE and i was wondering why you would have to change the alternator bracket from the one thats already on it
Alternator hits the sway bar.
^^^ what he said
i highly doubt the brakes would fit without mods, for starters the PCD is wrong AE101 being 4x100 whereas your 86 is 4x114.3
they of course can be redrilled and brackets fabricated to fit the caliper. not overly familiar with their brakes but i feel they may be more effective options, both cost effective and performance wise.
not to mention that on the GZE.. the pwr steer, air con, altenator, all hang off the one 79kg bracket bolted to the side of the motor..
yes.. AE92 4AFE one positions it off the 3 bolts near the oil pressure sender, you just need to bend/modify a swing arm to keep tension for it..
thanks for the info
i have ae101 calipers (using custom brackets) with pug 405 disks (regrilled to fit the ae86 hub)
they fit fine but hard to find a wheel taht would fit
