Ok from my other thread i couldnt get it cranking, now it cranks but wont start. Ok i know its getting fuel as the banjo bolt on the fuel dampener on the rail wasnt done up and fuel came pissing out of it. I havent checked spark and ill do that in the morning, but whats the firing order? Is it 1-3-4-2 clockwise around the dizzy?

    Check:

Coil is sparking, put the lead to a strut top bolt
leads are sparking (do similar thing)
Check fuel, sounds like its working
Other than that i would suggest timing as i had alot of problems with this...

My cars giving me the shits too if its running i might come over tmro and try have a look for you mate. Shoot me a pm if you are around tmro

Ok i put a spark plug on one of the leads and held it to a head bolt, cranked it over and no spark was coming out, so im thinking its either points or coil, any other suggestions?

If the coil isnt firing i dare say your missing the black wire of the coil. Im sorry i dont know anymore then that.

It will crank till the battery gos flat but it will never start without the said wire.

I do believe it has something to do with a earth "maybe /possibly"

I know the wire, if you posted a pic of your coil/ignitor i would look to see if its what im thinking of.
    Insert witty comment here....

Ok, im getting spark now which is a good thing but its a very weak spark, but it sparks. Injectors are getting power i checked with a test light, but cranking it over it wont start so that lead me to injectors, i pulled out 2 plugs no. 1 and 3 and smelt them, they smell like there brand new which they are, so that leads me to believe that injectors arent pushing out fuel, like they are blocked or something. What does everyone else think from my essay?
