Default Coolant/water temp sensor missing. Need to block the radiator!

Righty'o, story is my last radiator on my dirty nissan shat it's self. It was after market and didn't have a inlet hole for the temp sensor it's self which threads in right next to the bottom radiator hose.

Being the innovative Japanese man he was he threw the sensor away and limiter bashed away in the dirty Nissan (it's a 32 GTS-T) and stuck it out with the shitty after market radiator.

So I bought a nice new one the other day which has the inlet hole for the temp sensor. What is the best way to plug it up?

1- Get another temp sensor (keeping in mind I'm poor, and I just need to get the car to my tuner's next week).
2- Find a bolt with the right thread and weld it in or just screw it in with a rubber seal on the end?
3- Weld the hole up? Or will I just fuck the radiator in doing so?
    4- You tell me?

Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Ah yeh, DOI! Completley forgot about that, will call NissWreck tomorrow.

I think there is a sensor that comes off the ECU into the engine which is the water temp sensor and one that threads into the radiator, which is the coolant temp sensor, not 100% though.

Find out what thread pitch it is and either get a the cheapest sender you can find (a VDO water temp sender is like $12) or you can get a blanking plug from any decent parts stores. If it's 1/8th NPT thread pitch, you can find fittings for them at Sprints.
