Anyone have any idea what/if there are any differences of using Powesteering arms to using Extra lock spacers? And also whether you can use them both together to give theoretically more lock.

    Cheers,
    Ken

yes you can get wicked (but very usable [carpark, lol]) amounts of lock with p.s. arms + lock spacers

    all availible from AJPS.

P.S arms retail for about $320* + postage, Lock spacers are $65, and are screw in type.

never heard much about lock spacers, what do they do, go into the steering arms and go back towards the strut before they join into the tie rod or something.

they go inbetween the rack end and the rack it self. gives the rack more "travel" hence more lock. they are effectively like a thick washer the same size as the rack so the rack end still stops the rack movement. check this link out

the screw in ones that Dave makes now are heaps better than the old ones, they don't reduce the amount of thread that goes into the rack from the rack end. that was the only ffactor i questioned in regards to the other "washer" style ones.

He does because he's awesome. I got a phone call from him on Friday and he said he had heaps still, so I got one. Give him a ring, he'll give you the sweet hookup.

So which one gives you more lock? Spacers or arms?
