    WHy do you want it to idle higher?

    its probably idling too low

    probably cos the icv/vacuum isnt hooked up or some other vacuum

    stock ECU? AFM or MAP?

    there is a idle control valve under the quads at the rear of the motor. if you run an AFM ECU (silvertop) you should have a hose between this and the sealed airbox. if you leave it open you'll have 2 vacuum leaks. one at the valve and one at the airbox

    if its MAP this should be fine to leave open with a smallish filter on the valve.
