machining shop to do stub axle swap

does anyone in wollongong know where i can get stub axle removed from one strut and put on another.

i have a modified hilux strut to suit an ae86 has 4 spot calipers but it has dodgy welds and and a standard spring falls out when car is raised won't get passed by an engineer.

i want to get the hilux stub axle removed off the dodgy strut and put on my standard strut
the struts have same width and thickness

if this isn't possible can someone let me know or if anyone has any ideas

can you post a picture of this strut you have rght now? I am really confused by your description

i know this might sound abit extreme and dodgey
but maybe some metal wire and wrap the spring to the strut so it doesnt fall out?

Welding a stub axle on can't be good! Wouldnt wanna drive on that bad boy...

cutting down the strut and replacing/relocating the spring perch might be a bit better. Just do a coilover conversion on the hilux strut.
