toyo proxes 4 195/50r15 up front. good cheap steer tyre.

recently tried 195/50r15 sumitomos on the rear. they were great. one of the best tyres i have used on the rear. diddnt delaminate

nexen n2000 205/50r15 i usually run on around 18psi. they last ages with ok grip. dont delaminate

nankang ns2s 195/50r15 bgood grip but last about 2 sessions (10 laps) usually delaminate

falken ze312 literly lasted 5 laps, not even a session. too soft. these did delaminate

clear 195/50r15 lasted a while with 24psi and diddnt delaminate

toyo proxes 4 195/50r15 great on the rear. awsome grip and lasted ages without delaminating.

all i can think of at the moment.

At the moment running on my s14:

Bridgestone re070 semi slicks on the front
Khumo something or other sport tyres on the back with a v tread. 203s or something.

The re070s are brilliant - they wear well, are super responsive, super grippy, good in the wet.
The khumos are surprisingly versatile and have lasted really well with a bit of abuse.

Next change I'm going Federal 595rs semis front and probably federal street tyres rear. See how it goes.

    proxes 4 $113 each

    sumitomos $99 each

    nexens $125 each

    nankang NS2s $89 each

    falkens $109 each

    antyre clear $65 each

these prices are what i would imagine you would be paying.
find a single tyre shop and keep going back. they will eventually give you better pricing.

also tried some iron man 195/50r15 $90 each. i have heard good things about them but i diddnt like them very stiff. but they did delaminate on me.

I'm running jap Advan Neova's all round and fuck they are sick for grip and skid. Actually nuts.

I said it before, but Kingstar's are dirt cheap and they haven't delaminated at all on my turbo car.

Going to get some Bridgestone RE070s or RE555 sooon and a pair or RE010s, should be interesting comparison between the semis. Don't think you can get RE070s or RE555 which sucks.

Has anyone skidded on Yokohama Advan V103?

I might have to get some prices for your kenda's, robo. Nankang prices just keep on going up and up... (probably the same with all overseas tyres though)

Im on the coast so the federal warehouse is down the road....i run there semi slicks 205/50 r 15 on my front $140 a tyre.......(best tyres ever)
and federal formoza 195/55 r 14 on my rear.....$70 a tyre (not best grip but they last and give good smoke)

All yokohama advan tyres are highly recommended if willing to pay the price.....
