<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (boh @ Feb 4 2008, 07:06 PM) </div>Yes they are. The E2 is just a bit longer. E1 is for Corolla, E2 is for V6 Camry... sort of. I think the E2 is listed as the 4A-GE one, but it does not matter.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jonny Rochester @ Feb 5 2008, 01:09 AM) </div>Thanks for that
it was for my parents 3sge, they usually get an E1, but the parts guy gave me an E2
thanks parrot.
now i need to know the part number for rack ends left and right
are they both the same?
and is it 45503-19015
also do the jdm and adm both use the same rack ends?
Your number is correct. Same both for left and right, power steer and manual, AE86 and KE70, ADM and JDM as far as I can see.
But these are cheaply available in generic brands at Burson and Repco and you won't need to quote the number.
thanks jonny your a legend!
*WARNING* to all gt-apex jdm owners this 45503-19015 is not the right part number. Our cars require shorter rack ends. I found out the hard way after ordering that part LOL oh wells hard lesson learned. What i did was then take off my existing rack ends and bring them into bursons / repco / toyota spare parts and got them to go find a match up. I will see if i can find the packaging and hence source the part number that is required.
