with persistance, there is very little that you can't order from toyota ADM or JDM. parts guys don't like ordering from japan cos of the system. like jonny stated before, availability and price can only be give on parts that have already been in australia, "Not on file" only means nobody has ordered one into aus so it's not on the system. the process to get part onto the system involes bouncing E-mail between your dealership, sydney and japan.
which can take upto 3 weeks just to add part to the system so you can get a price and availability, then expect another 3 weeks to get here from the motherland. in the meantime (2 months) if the customer changes thier mind, the dealership is owns a(usually expensive and) unwanted part.

Having said that, a friend of mine has successfully ordered lower and upper sumps with pick-up for a JZX81(to convert supra/soarer sourced 1JZ to front sump) through my dealership.

best bet is to try finding a dealership that deals regularly with imports, be pesistant and offer a deposit on any items "not on file". add peice of mind to your parts guy knowing he won't get stuck with a bunch of JDM huchi parts that he has little chance of reselling.

good, it's guys like you guys that keep toyota on their toes, so that all the common JDM ae86 parts are already on file, makes it alot easier for the rest of us!

These parts are shared with the TE71 only. (AE92 maybe similar, but not the same part numbers).

could i get the part number for a fuel filter? for jdm zenki ae86, 83 bluetop bigport 16v 4age. black thing with bolt on top on left side of engine bay. i think these are interchangeable with ae92 filter? someone correct me?
if possible does anybody know of any after markets as well for example sold at repco? valvoline? ryco? have no clue. also if there are could you tell me what codes they are?

*EDIT* found the toyota part number thanks jonny rochester
    23300-19025
the z361 ryco fuel filter fits (confirmed)
also the valvoline equivalent (it will say it on the side of the box equivalent to ryco z361)
    both approximately $40 bux each.
