There is no reason known to want a longer one. There is a fair bit of thread on them to adjust either way. Just make sure left and right are about the same. (Then adjust toe after that).

If you want more castor id go for rose jointed lca's so there isnt as much stress on the lower bush being pulled forwards a a weird angle.

Also you could just tap more thread onto a stock rod.

basically what im trying to do is even out a 10mm kink in my chassis, found out the other day that it is kinked(would have been nice if previous owner had told me), i need to adjust my drivers side wheel 10 mm forward. my standard castor rod which is adjustable is maxxed out at the last setting.
what should i do to get a good wheel alignment again?

i had a car with a bent chassis, cant fix it with a wheel alignment properly.
crash repair shops usualy do a pretty good job in straightening it out

    dont know sorry.
i sold it as it was (without telling them lol) and built the rolla.
just go to a decent crash repair place (dont know where your from) and get them to look over the car. then they will give you a quote

To get the chassis straitened, about $1500 with the engine bay painted also. Maybe $600 just to get it pulled, no paint.
