Normal tyre sizes you are looking at, 185/60/14 or 195/60/14 or 195/55/14 if you can find them.
If you are really interested in low profile, then you will also want 15" or 16" wheels. And get 195/50/15 tyres or something like that.
Hey guys... Just recently purchased some 14 x 7 Hotwires... They will be going onto a ae71 with ae86 struts..
I was wondering if anyone on the forum has had any problems getting "low profile" or close to low, tyres.
Such as i wanted 205/40 or 50.... but they only tyre i can find is a 225/40 or a 195/60... and like thats it. I want something good and really grippy on the front, so a bit taller wall doesnt really matter... but the rear i wanted to be as low as possible.
Just asking what size tyres/ and brands people have found to work well... they will be used in
- track
- hill climbs
- drifting
- DAILEY
Any help appreciated... THANKS ROSS

185 will be plenty on a 7" wide rim - 60 profile is fine for response on a 14". So just go 185/60R14.
186/60 would be best i would say, big tire walls but yea the amount of stretch with a good amount of psi in the tires i dont think you would have much more tire roll than that of say a 40 profile on a 14"
Also 40 profile on a 14 would look pretty silly id say
check nangkang tyres
they have som unusal sizes for 14's they do make 185 55 r 14 im pretty sure
and some mega low profiles for 15 like 195 45 r 14
JAPANESE DOMESTIC MARKET AS F*CK!!! hmmm, when you prenounce it properly, it sounds gay how bout that.
185/60/14 potenza g3
you cant lose!
^ thats how i roll.
I used Nankang EX-601 coz they were cheap and directional. 195/60 14 dunno if they make them anymore but they grip alright for a cheap tyre...
That is all...

What is the current CAMS Road Reg tyre of choice in 14's? Back in my day it was Yokohama A001R's , but that was some time ago......
Probably not called road reg any more, Club cars? I will be looking to put a set on mine soon and have a history with Yokohama's.
